I've used delicate faceted champagne glass beads that catch the light and twinkle like stars, set against the sunshine gold tones of the brass elements, all finished with a crown of amber glass seed beads - perfect for a rustic boho bride x
8 hours of craft Every element of this hair vine has been made from scratch in my own studio here in the UK. They start life as a sketch, then brass pieces are hand sawn, textured and polished ready for soldering. I hand roll and mill all my own wires so they have the right properties and proportions for my designs. After the metalwork is finished and the brass vine is ready for beading, I use beautiful high quality crystal glass beads from my own vintage collection or sourced from UK suppliers.
I take care with the beading, making sure to smooth and tuck away any pokey wires at the back of the wrapped vine. I hand make the end combs and solder them onto the vine base, also adding a little wire loop at each end so the vine can be pinned into position making it very secure and comfortable to wear all day and night!
Each vine measures approx.. 14cm wide - The metal base of the vine can be adjusted to fit the curve and hairstyle you will be wearing on the day
